What does it take to turn a bold idea into a community institution — and keep it thriving for a decade?
For Anand Pallegar, founder of DreamLarge, it began with a vision: a space where curiosity could flourish, creativity could soar and perspectives could be challenged. That vision took shape as PINC — a full-day conference of People, Ideas, Nature, and Community — that started in the Netherlands and made its way across the Atlantic Ocean to Sarasota in 2014.
PINCfest celebrates visual and performing artists

Unique speakers provide spark at PINC conference
For the third straight year, an eclectic, quirky, unpredictable international lineup of speakers took turns offering pep talks on the human condition, ominous reality checks and glimpses of the future in 20-minute stanzas. For those who ponied up $425 a ticket, the nine-hour experience included three meals and, for the third straight year, according to host Anand Pallegar, the event sold out all 540 seats.
